REFEST was promoted at JEC World 2026, which took place from 10 to 12 March 2026 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris, France.
JEC World is recognised as the leading international exhibition dedicated to composite materials and their applications. Held annually in Paris, the event brings together the global composites community, including companies, researchers, technology providers, manufacturers, innovators and end-users from different industrial sectors.
The 2026 edition offered a key platform to explore the latest developments in composite materials, advanced manufacturing, lightweight solutions, circularity, sustainability and high-performance applications. These topics are particularly relevant for sectors seeking more efficient, durable and low-carbon material solutions, including mobility, transport, marine and maritime industries.
AIMPLAS attended JEC World 2026 on behalf of REFEST distributing the project brochures during networking activities and meetings held throughout the event.
REFEST’s presence at JEC World 2026 represented a valuable opportunity to increase the project’s visibility within the international composites community and to present its contribution to more sustainable and energy-efficient maritime activities. Through the dissemination materials shared by AIMPLAS, participants had the opportunity to learn more about REFEST’s work on innovative solutions aimed at reducing fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in the fisheries sector.
