Gemi Boats is a boat dealer in Denmark. GeMi Boats is a Norwegian brand. We design and produce rugged, high quality aluminium boats. Our boats have been thoroughly tested and used along the harsh Norwegian coastline, where they have proved their seaworthiness and durability.

AIMPLAS is formed by +250 highly skilled professionals, more than 77% with a Masters, Engineering or equivalent degree in Chemistry, polymer engineering, materials engineering or equivalent, including 39 PhD.

MORSKI INSTYTUT RYBACKI – PAŃSTWOWY INSTYTUT BADAWCZY (MIR) is the oldest National Marine Fisheries Research Institute in Poland. The science center provides independent, objective and up-to-date knowledge based on scientific activity as well as research and development works, which support economically sustainable and environmentally sound development of marine fisheries. The goal ist o achieve the status of a reliable and modern research institute, which is attractive for scientific and business partners (in Poland and abroad), and conducts comprehensive research into sustainable exploitation of marine ecosystems and use of marine fisheries resources.

The statutory activity of the Institute is financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The Multiannual Programme for Collection of Fisheries Data financed by the European Commission and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is another stable element of the National Marine Fisheries Research Institute research budget.

KU, KLAIPEDOS UNIVERSITETAS, is a university in the Lithuanian port city of Klaipėda, an autonomous state study and science institution of the Lithuanian Republic. The new university incorporated existing institutions of higher education in the city.

At its inception, it comprised three faculties, Humanities and Natural Sciences, Marine Engineering, and Pedagogy. It has since grown to seven faculties and eight institutes: the faculties of Natural Science and Mathematics, Humanities, Marine Engineering, Art, Pedagogy, Social Sciences, and Health Sciences; Maritime Institute, Seascape Institute, Institute of Continuing Studies, Coastal Research and Planning Institute, Institute of Baltic Sea Region History and Archaeology, Institute of Regional Policy and Planning, Mechatronics Institute, and Musicology Institute.

In 2019, Klaipėda University joined the EU-CONEXUS which is an international alliance of coastal cities universities aiming to enhance cooperation between them

The Department of KU Marine Research Institute is involved in the REFEST project.

LFPA, Lietuvos Zuvininkstes produktu gamintoju asociacija, has been representing fishermen fishing in the Baltic Sea and the Baltic Sea coast almost  for  30 years.  LFPA members are 20 fishing companies and own about 30 fishing vessels. The most of  fishing trawlers are about 25 m length, 117-120 GT and about 220 kW.  The small scale fishery vessels are 5-12 m length, about 1-2 GT. They are catching  herring, flounder, bream, halibut, goby and etc.
The main goals of LFPA are:  to represent and protect the rights and interests of members in the EU, Lithuania and other bodies and international organizations; to cooperate with various institutions and scientific institutions in fisheries matters; to promote sustainable fishing measures, which include the balanced use of fish resources, the development of economic efficiency and social well-being and etc.

NEXTHORIZON, NXH, is a French SME working on chemicals processes integrating renewable energies. The company is working on supercritical water processes to develop and produce nanoparticles and for industrial water remediation. The founder has also long-term experience in photovoltaics, from silicon ingots to PV modules, including flexible modules, and PV systems.

Cálculo de Estructuras Sensadas, S.L. – CALSENS is a spin-off company of the Universitat Politècnica de València. CALSENS was born in 2013 from the partnership between telecommunications and civil engineers collaborating since 2004 in photonic technology research projects applied to the monitoring of civil engineering, security systems and processes in the energy, aeronautics, or mining sectors, among others.

The company has a multidisciplinary team with a high degree of expertise in civil engineering, photonic technology, signal processing, materials engineering, and computing.
This allows the company to offer optimal solutions adapted to the needs of the customer. Among the commercial capacities offered by CALSENS there is smart monitoring systems for structures and processes 24/7 days as well as advice for safety evaluation and decision-making to guarantee adequate working performance based on monitoring data. Real-time monitoring systems could be applied to structures such as bridges, tunnels, pipes, roads, satellites, wind poles made of composites, concrete, cement, steel, etc.
At present, CALSENS participates in national and European research projects, developing, validating, and calibrating new products and systems.
