From 21 to 23 May 2025, Cork, Ireland, will host the next edition of the European Maritime Day (EMD) – a major annual gathering for Europe’s maritime stakeholders. This event is a key moment for connecting professionals and decision-makers working in areas related to the sea, marine environments, and the sustainable blue economy.

Over the course of three days, EMD 2025 will offer a dynamic programme of thematic sessions, interactive workshops, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. It’s a space where discussions take shape around the future of our oceans, innovative practices in marine industries, and shared European action for sustainable development.

The event welcomes participants from a broad range of sectors including business, public authorities, academia, NGOs, and civil society, all with a shared interest in maritime affairs. One of the highlights will be the third edition of the Fisheries and Ocean Dialogue, hosted by the Blue Forum.

REFEST is glad to spread the word about EMD 2025 – a unique chance to connect, learn, and contribute to shaping a more sustainable future for our seas.
